Dr Manuel Cubero, CEO of Kabel Deutschland Holding chief commercial officer of Vodafone Germany, is to deliver a keynote at the opening plenary of IBC 2016 (Amsterdam September 8 to 13).
He’s expected to tell delegates about the transformation that has taken place at the leading German cable operator since its acquisition by Vodafone in 2014.
Dr Cubero first joined Kabel Deutschland in 2003 and held a variety of management positions before moving into his current role as CEO in 2014. He has also been the Chief Commercial Officer of Vodafone Germany since 2015. Prior to joining Kabel Deutschland, Dr Cubero was managing director of several companies in the Kirch Group, founder and managing director of an Internet betting company.
This year’s IBC conference is called “Transformation in the Digital Era: Leadership, strategy and creativity in media and entertainment”. Some 300 executives will share insight and opinion on the sector.
