Al Jazeera Balkans and Eutelsat Communications announce today at the NEM media event in Dubrovnik that Al Jazeera Balkans is joining the Team:Sat TV platform operated by Team:Media.
The channel will broadcast exclusively in High Definition, free-to-air from the Eutelsat 16A satellite. The channel will launch in HD on July 1.
By integrating into this popular platform of over 20 television channels, Al Jazeera Balkans will deepen its reach into TV homes in the Balkans and offer viewers the benefits of HD quality. Launched in 2010 from its studios in Sarajevo, Al Jazeera Balkans broadcasts news and information in Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian.
Team:Media broadcasts regional and international channels in two transponders on the Eutelsat 16A satellite that reaches into over 12 million DTH, cable and IP homes, making it the satellite of reference for viewers from the Balkans.
