DNS:NET and Zattoo team up for second screen

June 7, 2016 11.07 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

Quantum TVGerman fibre-optic network operator DNS:NET will launch a second screen TV offer in summer 2016 extending its existing TV platform.

The product announced at ANGA COM 2016 is the Quantum TV solution which network operators can deploy through a framework contract between German cable marketing organisation Deutsche Netzmarketing and Swiss IPTV provider Zattoo.

Several German network operators already rely on Zattoo’s IPTV platform to provide their customers with a full multiscreen service for the TV set via set-top-box as well as for second screen devices like smartphones or tablets.

DNS:NET is the first network operator to introduce Quantum TV as a sole second screen product.
