The Romanian incumbent has announced an increase in the subscription fee for its basic TV service.
Quoting a notification signed by Frantisek Mala, the company’s new sales manager for the residential segment, ZF says that it amounts to €0.50, or €0.60 including VAT, a month and will come into effect on July 1.
According to Telekom Romania, the increase is to cover the cost of adding six more channels – Bollywood TV, National 24 Plus, Inedit TV, France 24, Mooz Hits and Mooz Dance – to its offer at the beginning of this month.
The move is seen as part of new CEO Miroslav Majoros’s strategy to increase revenues, profits and subscriber numbers for both fixed and mobile services.
