Casa will be demonstrating its multigigabit CCAP technology, which it says is the only one in the world capable of delivering live converged voice, video and data traffic over a single port.
The technologist says surging VOD and OTT consumption is driving demand for ever-increasing speeds.
Casa’s DOCSIS 3.1 product is the first without the need for hardware changeouts. Casa says it’s been collating feedback from operator field trials where its CCAP has been deployed. It will be reporting back on that and its Remote PHY solution released earlier this year.
