Sencore/Wellav, along with co-exhibitor Mediachoice, will be displaying a full line of new solutions at ANGA COM.
Utilising the latest technology such as 4k, HEVC and OTT, they will make it easier than ever to add more channels.
The solutions include the Sencore AG 9000, which provides HEVC 4k decoding for monitoring real-time linear distribution video feeds. With up to 18 channels of decoding in a 2RU Ross openGear 3.0 frame, it is ideal for typically tight NOC and video wall situations. Delivering either full resolution, 2160p output via HDMI or down-converted 1080p50/60 video via 3G-SDI, the AG 9000 decodes video services up to 70 Mbps.
Meanwhile, the Sencore TXS 8700 and Wellav OMP500 transcoders/encoders take existing live services and prepare them for MPEG-2, H.264 or H.265/HEVC OTT distribution. Support for all streaming distribution formats, including HLS, HDS, RTMP, and MPEG-DASH, alongside built-in publishing protocols for major CDNs makes set up and installing simple. Field-upgradable software and licences allow the platforms to stay current with the latest protocols and technologies and scale up to meet growing demand.
Sencore’s flagship IRDs – MRD4400/MRD5800 – now support HEVC Main & Main 10 profiles, including: 4:2:2/4:2:0, 10-bit/8-bit, and HD/SD formats up to 1080p. As a full featured offering with support for ASI, MPEG/IP, DVB-T/T2/C/C2/ISDB-T or satellite inputs plus DVB-CI and BISS descrambling options, the Sencore MRD is the first “full featured, triple CODEC” IRD on the market.
Sencore will be at booth 10.1/N36 at ANGA COM.
