The Romanian cable operator Digital Cable Systems (DCS) had revenues of RON172.2 million (€38.1 million) last year, down 3% on 2014.
Quoting figures provided by the Ministry of Finance, ZF reports that the group composed of DCS and AKTA Telecom had combined revenues of RON226.13 million over the same period, up 13.4% over the previous year.
It adds that the group, which is 63% owned by PineBridge, had net losses of RON12 million in 2015, compared to RON9 million in 2014.
As previously reported in Broadband TV News, PineBridge turned down bids for DCS from both UPC and Vodafone in January 2015.
It subsequently secured a loan of €10 million from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to help DCS extend and upgrade its cable TV and broadband networks.
