The new Czech sports channel O2 TV Fotbal will be launched in the first half of August.
According to Parabola, it will offer viewers coverage of the Premier League, Spain’s La Liga and Italy’s Serie A.
It will also show, on a live and exclusive basis, games from the Spanish, Italian and French Cup competitions.
The channel has in addition secured exclusive rights to the leading Czech football league (Synot Liga) and will also offer viewers coverage of the Champions League.
O2 TV Fotbal will be operated by the Czech incumbent O2, owner of the country’s leading IPTV platform O2 TV.
