Mariam Zamaray, CEO at TERN International, has left the company, “by mutual consent”, with COO Rian Bester taking over responsibilities on an interim basis.
A statement from Dutch-based TERN said: “Mariam established TERN and its unique position with one of the first UHD channels available in the world today, with her unparalleled creativity, passion and drive. We thank her for all her hard work and wish her all the best with her future activities.”
Zamaray added in a statement: “It was an exceptional challenge. I was given a lot of support and opportunities within this company, but now that TERN is active and expanding, it’s time for me to look for new challenges.”
TERN (Television Entertainment Reality Network) launched Insight, an UltaHD/4K factual entertainment channel, during MIPCOM 2015 in October.
