The supervisory board at the Croatian incumbent Hrvatski Telekom (HT) has approved the election of its chairman and deputy chairman.
The former position will taken by Ilias Drakopoulos and the latter by Ivan Misetic.
Drakopoulos has been a member of the board since 2013, as one of the representatives of Deutsche Telekom, while Misetic has been an independent member of the board since 2008.
The supervisory board has also appointed Josef Thürriegel as a management board member and CFO for three years, effective June 1. He will replace Kai-Ulrich Deissner, who left the company on April 1.
Thürriegel will be arriving from Deutsvhe Telekom’s headquarters, where he is currently VP functioning control Europe.
Prior to this, in the period from 2000 to 2009, he held various management positions in HT’s finance area.
Also, Thorsten Albers has resigned from his position as a member of the management board and chief technical and information officer.
He will leave HT on May 15 and pursue his career in the Deutsche Telekom Group.
