German commercial broadcasters Sat.1 and kabel eins will show the games of South-American football tournament Copa América live and exclusive for the first time in the channels’ history.
At the occasion of 100-year anniversary of football association Conmebol, there will be a special setup this year: The competition will take place from June 3-26, 2016 in the USA, marking its debut outside South America. Also for the first time, teams from North and Central America will take part in Copa América Centenario 2016.
From kick-off, kabel eins will show one game per day live on free-to-air TV. Sat.1 will enter coverage from the quarter final and transmit seven matches live from June 16-26, 2016 free-to-air.
All 32 games of the Copa América will be shown as live-streams on ran.de, the sports website of ProSiebenSat.1.
