Helbo becomes new Com Hem CTO

May 9, 2016 11.08 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Thomas Helbo PortraitThomas Helbo is the new chief technology officer of Com Hem, the Swedish cablenet says.

For the past three years Helbo has been chief technology officer of Denmark’s second largest cable operator Stofa, where he’s held various positions since 2012.

Helbo is also Chairman of the Danish Consumer Electronics Association.

“We are continuing to maintain a high pace of technological development in our services. I am therefore pleased that Thomas will be joining us here at Com Hem. Thomas is a highly skilled leader and has in-depth and vast experience of technological development in our industry,” says Anders Nilsson, CEO of Com Hem.

“I have been part of the transformation of Stofa from a technology-oriented company to becoming more customer focused. In many ways, this is similar to the journey taken in recent years by Com Hem, which has also invested in its network and its services to enhance the customer experience.” added Helbo.

Helbo replaces Henri Caddeo, who has departed for Bonnier’s TV4 Group.
