Dutch cable operator Ziggo is adding new channels to its line-up on July 1.
BBC First HD will be added to the basic tier of the Liberty Global owned cabler, following a year of exclusivity on the KPN Interactieve TV platform.
The channel was first launched in the country in May 2015, and offers a ‘best of BBC’ drama selection with Dutch subtitles. BBC First launched in Belgium on the Telenet cablenet on June 4, 2015.
There are a number of BBC channels available in the Netherlands, including all domestic national BBC channels, as well BBC World News and BBC Entertainment.
On July 1, Ziggo will also add two SD channels from Scripps, Fine Living and Food Network. Penthouse will be added to the adult package.
