The Polish DTH platform nc+ plans to launch an OTT service by the first quarter of 2017.
Quoting an interview with the company’s president Manuel Rougeron in Rzeczpospolita, Satkurier reports that the service will be accessible through a new decoder with the working name Freedom.
Rougeron added that the service will be completely separate to nc+ Go, which already has 200,000 users.
Furthermore, the channel line-up will also be different to that of the DTH platform nc+ and made available to viewers on an SVOD or PPV basis.
