T-Mobile launches Knippr beta test

May 3, 2016 09.37 Europe/London By Robert Briel

Knippr_logoT-Mobile Netherlands has launched a beta test of its OTT TV Everywhere service Knippr beta test with 1,500 friendly users.

Knippr is an OTT service, where consumers can mix and match their own bouquet of TV channels. The service was first announced last December.

No other T-Mobile subscription is required, making it a true OTT service. When the service will officially launch, it will be compatible with Chromecast and Apple TV 4, also an app for tablet and smartphone will become available for both iOS and Android.

T-Mobile is the second operator to launch a OTT video service in the country, KPN launched its Play service in November.
