Canal Digital lost a further 20,000 subscribers in a first quarter that saw the DTH operator in dispute with Discovery Channel over a new agreement.
Channels including local entertainment network TV Norge were absent for close to a fortnight while the coffee carriage deal was negotiated.
Their loss contributed to a two year period of subscriber erosion that escalated in the quarter.
However, while DTH subscribers fell, cable remained stable at around 530,000 subscribers, suggesting other factors may be at play.
Despite the problems, Telenor Broadcast increased revenues by 15%, due to changes in a contract at transmission company Norkring.
Canal Digital itself raised revenues by 3%. Lower data communications sales reduced Telenor Satellite by 3%.
