Canal+’s problems in its home market are unlikely to impact on its activities in Poland.
Quoted by Wirtualne Media, Paulina Smaszcz-Kurzajewska, a spokesperson for the DTH platform nc+, said that the Polish assets bring in revenues and invest in local content.
Moreover, they form part of the profitable Canal+ Overseas, rather than Canal+ in France.

Canal+’s assets in Poland include nc+, in which it holds a 51% stake, along with over a dozen proprietary channels, eight of which use the Canal+ brand.
Nc+ had revenues of €500 million in 2015, down €15 million on the previous year.
