Zenterio says it plans to launch a full service consultancy business for operators planning interactive services through the connected home.
Announcing the plan at TV Connect in London CEO Jörgen Nilsson said he was positioning the company as a full-service provider of technology, value added services and consultancy for the TV industry: “As viewing habits and business models in the TV industry evolve, operators are being forced to reinvent their businesses and update their offerings. The ones that will come out on top are those that can successfully adapt and quickly launch new services based on consumer insights to generate additional revenue streams.”
The launch follows recent acquisitions by Zenterio of 27M, VTilt, and Systemagic. It plans to combine expertise gained from the businesses to cover system integration, user interface development, application development, device design, tech consulting and product lifecycle management.
Founded in 1996, Zenterio is best known for Zenterio OS, its independent software platform for interactive TV.
