Romania’s RCS&RDS (Digi) has provided statistical data on its subscriber base.
According to Media Expres and ZF, it now has 2.7 million cable, 700,000 DTH and 1.4 million fixed-line telephony customers.
The figures, which are rarely published, also show that RCS&RDS is significantly ahead of its competitors in the key business segments of fixed internet and TV services.
For instance, it has 800,000 more fixed internet subscribers than Telekom Romania, as well as around 2 million more TV customers.
Furthermore, in the cable sector it has around 1.8 million more customers than UPC Romania.
