Marcello Maggioni, currently managing director of consumer business at Vodafone Deutschland, will return to Sky Deutschland where he will occupy the newly created position of chief commercial officer (CCO).
The 46-year old Italian will join the German pay-TV broadcaster on July 1, 2016. As CCO, he will be responsible for Sky Deutschland’s customer and revenue relevant areas (customer group, product strategy & management, Sky Media).
Maggioni was executive vice president customer group at Sky Deutschland between 2008 and 2014, the period in which the Sky brand was introduced in Germany and Austria, replacing the Premiere brand.
