April 18, 2016 07.26 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Cyfrowy PolsatEleven Sports Network has secured carriage for its proprietary channels Eleven and Eleven Sports on Cyfrowy Polsat, Poland’s leading DTH platform.

As a result, and following a number of other recent agreements with other providers, the two channels now reach over 90% of pay-TV households in the country.

Commenting on the latest agreement, Danny Menken, group MD, Eleven Sports Network, said: “Signing this agreement with Cyfrowy Polsat is a massive achievement for Eleven and reflects the tremendous growth and progress we have made as a network.

“We have already made great strides with our distribution in Poland and other territories and it is fantastic to watch our popularity with the fans continue to grow from day to day.”

Maciej Stec, Board member of Cyfrowy Polsat and Telewizja Polsat, added: “Our subscribers will now receive an even bigger choice of the best sports from around the world. Having a strong sports offering has always been an important asset of Cyfrowy Polsat and Eleven’s channels perfectly complement this.

“I’m convinced that having access to 15 of the best sports channels will satisfy the needs of our subscribers, and confirms our strength.”

All Cyfrowy Polsat subscribers will be able to watch the two channels as part of a promotional period until April 30.
