Jaap Postma has been named as the new senior executive vice president of Danish cablenet YouSee.
The 41-year-old former KPN executive will take on the role from May 10, 2016, replacing René Brochner, who will continue as the acting head of the company through until the end of the year when he leaves parent TDC Group.
“I am extremely pleased that we have managed to get Jaap Postma on board. I am convinced that it is absolutely the best match for the new YouSee. We have a clear strategy to become the best in the industry, and it requires that we have the best people on all items. And that’s exactly what we get with a profile as Jaap,” said Pernielle Erenbjerg, President, TDC.
Earlier this year TDC announced plans to wrap the cablenet into its overall business, alongside the IPTV-delivered TDC TV.
