The number of Dutch homes receiving quad-play services stood at over 700,000 as of the end of 2015.
According to the findings of Telecompaper’s Dutch Consumer Multiplay market report, over 10% of all broadband subscriptions were then part of multiplay plans, up from 6.1% in the corresponding period in 2014.
There was also impressive growth in quad-play revenues, which accounted for over 15% of all multiplay revenues, up from just over 9% a year earlier.
Total multiplay revenues in Q4 2015 amounted to €1.013 billion, up 7.5% on the same period a year earlier.
However, the report notes that despite growth in quad-play, the majority of Dutch households – nearly 4 million – still opt for triple play, with Ziggo (62%) claiming the most customers.
