Eurosport 1 has launched on DTT in Germany on April 1, 2016 in Munich, Nuremberg and Stuttgart.
In Munich, the free-to-air sports channel occupies slot 34 in the local DVB-T multiplex, in Nuremberg slot 60 and in Stuttgart slot 25.
Eurosport 1 replaces women’s channel TLC in all three cities on DTT, a spokesman of Discovery Communications Deutschland, operating company of both channels, told Broadband TV News. He didn’t want to comment on the reasons for the move.
TLC will remain available on all other distribution platforms.
