Channel 4 has added a Watch Live facility to the Android app of digital service All 4.
The introduction comes ahead of the broadcaster’s first live Formula 1 race of 2016 the Bahrain Grand Prix. Channel 4 has terrestrial rights through to 2018.
All of Channel 4’s suite of channels can now be viewed live on Android devices.

The revamped All 4 app launched on Android at the end of last year, following a preview trial with the broadcaster’s Core4 viewer panel which invited Android users to help shape the app ahead of its wider release.
Channel 4 has developed the All 4 app in partnership with Novoda, an international development house specialising in mobile software craftsmanship.
The Watch Live feature is enabled on compatible devices running Android OS Version 4.3 and above.
All 4 first launched on PC and iOS at the end of March last year.
