Mediaset Spain launches new DTT channel

be-mad-nueva-experienciaWATCH VIDEO. Mediaset will be launching its seventh DTT channel in Spain, Be Mad TV, within a few weeks.

The new channel also promises its viewers ‘a new experience.’ The launch is part of a slate of new DTT channels in Spain. All new digital terrestrial channels have a launch deadline of April 28, and licence holders are now gearing up to start their new channels.

Mediaset already has Tele Cinco, Cuatro, Factoria de Ficcion, Boing, Divinity and Enegry on the air as FTA channels on the country’s DTT network.

Earlier this week, Kiss Media announced it signed a deal with Discovery to launch DKiss.

The Grupo Secuoya will launch Ten on April 28, this will be a channel with a mix of information, news, documentaries, general entertainment, and which will consist of 50% own productions and 50% acquired programming

Atresmedia, owned by Planeta DeAgostini and RTL Group among others, has already launched Altreseries on DTT. Its main channels are Antena 3 and la Sexta, in addition there is Neox, Nova and Mega as FTA channels on DTT.

Real Madrid TV and 13 TV are already on air.
