A new procedure for broadcasters filing their ownership structure has come into force in Ukraine.
According to the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine (‘Rada’), it approved the procedure, which was developed with the help of experts from the Council of Europe, on January 21. It was subsequently registered with the Ministry of Justice on February 17.
Separately, Volia, Ukraine’s leading cable operator, has added a adult package to its offer.
It consists of the channels Playboy TV, Erox HD and Erotica HD and fully complaint with the law “On protection of public morality”.
Volia has also announced that it has made changes to its programme offer in order to comply with Rada’s decision to exclude several Russian channels from Ukraine.
The decision came into force on March 11.
