OSN has signed a new transponder deal with Eutelsat Communications, announcing that the 7/8° West capacity will support expansion plans including new High Definition channels and the introduction of Ultra HD services.
The new contract was announced at Cabsat 2016, the broadcasting convention taking place in Dubai from March 8-10.

OSN recently announced the launch of OSN Yahala Cinema HD, OSN Movies Family HD, OSN First HD Home of HBO, H2 HD, BBC First HD, OSN Movies Family HD, Discovery Family HD and IDX HD.
