Eleven Sports Network plans to launch a third channel, according to Danny Menken, its group managing director.
Speaking to Sport.pl and quoted by Wirtualne Media, he added that it also intends to soon move its headquarters and operate pre and post-match studios, as well as those providing live match coverage.
Menken added that although Eleven Sports Network operates in six countries, Poland, where it distributes the proprietary Eleven and Eleven Sports channels, is its largest market.
He also revealed that it came close last year to securing the rights to the Polish premier football league Ekstraklasa but had no interest in competing for the rights to the Europa League.
He also said that while Eleven Sports Network can be seen as a competitor to Canal+, its channels are carried on the DTH platform nc+.
Separately, Eleven Sports Network has signed a distribution agreement with the Polish cable operator Promax to broadcast its Eleven and Eleven Sports channels.
They will be made available to all Promax subscribers from March 9-31 as part of a promotional offer, after they will be offered in the Wygodny HD and Plus HD packages.
