TCM is to launch on BT TV. The 24-hour film channel is taking a place in BT’s Entertainment package.
Dan Fahy, senior director, commercial development, Northern Europe, Turner said: “TCM was watched by more adults in 2015 than any other pay-TV movie channel and this success is testament to our renowned and celebrated line up of Hollywood movies and hit drama series. We’re thrilled to be launching the channel on BT TV – further expanding the channel’s reach and strengthening our relationship with an important and growing market player.”
TCM screens a mix of much-loved movies, westerns and popular cinematic series’ with Tom Cruise favourite, Jerry Maquire, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and the Mad Max trilogy all brand new to the channel in 2016.
TCM will also continue its run of hit crime drama, Longmire and US western, Hell on Wheels, with both series exclusively premiering on TCM UK from late 2016.
