A new online service says it will aggregate the content of UK streaming and catch up services, sending personalised alerts based on user preferences.
Everyflix will find content from Netflix, Amazon, iTunes, NOW TV and Virgin Media, amongst others.
“The problem with having so much content spread across a number of TV providers is the content is often hidden away in the complex apps that only seem to surface the content that the TV providers want you to watch rather than the content that you might like to watch,” said Simon Hamblin, Founder of Everyflix.
Viewers can indicate which TV providers they subscribe to; they then receive personalised alerts when content matching their preferences becomes available.
Viewers can filter by genre types, Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB ratings, years released, director, actor name, etc.
