The Bulgarian satellite services provider NURTS has entered into a partnership with Eutelsat to help broadcast BNT World throughout Europe using the Eutelsat 7B satellite.
BNT World is a 24-hour FTA cultural and news channel operated by the public broadcaster BNT and targets the more than 2 million Bulgarians living outside their home country. It will be uplinked by NURTS from its state-of-the-art satellite teleport ‘Plana’ near Sofia.
Commenting on the development, Vladimir Rangelov, commercial director of NURTS, said: “We are excited to be working with Eutelsat.
