Eleven Sports Network has signed a distribution agreement with Vectra, Poland’s second largest cable operator.
As a result, all Vectra’s digital subscribers will be able to watch the channels Eleven and Eleven Sports, on a promotional basis, from February 25 until the end of March. Specific package details for the two channels will be announced at a later date.
Commenting on the development, Danny Menken, group MD, Eleven Sports Network, said: “Adding Vectra’s subscribers to our audience is a huge win for us in Poland.
“Eleven is now available on the four largest cable operators in the country, which is an amazing achievement for our young network in such a short timeframe.”
Malgorzata Wojtaszko, head of television content development, Vectra, added: “We are very pleased to have reached an agreement with Eleven (Sports Network) to offer our subscribers even more exciting sporting action.
“The addition of their channels confirms that sports content is a vital element in building our digital offer, which is one of the most attractive on the market.”
Following the addition of Eleven and Eleven Sports to its offer, Vectra’s line-up will consist of 215 channels, of which 79 will be in HD.
