UPC Romania aims to invest €50 million in 2016, according to its general manager Robert Redeleanu.
Quoted by ZF, he added that this was €15 million more than last year and the company remains interested in acquisitions, which would be funded directly by the group rather than from the €50 million budget.
Redeleanu said that the budget would be spent mostly on network expansion, with UPC Romania aiming to reach a further 300,000 homes, as it had done last year.
He also said that the company was evaluating the possibility of outsourcing technical operations to Huawei and considering becoming an MVNO.
UPC Romania had revenues of €142.4 million in 2015, or 9.2% more than the previous year.
