February 17, 2016 11.19 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Dom.ruThe Russian cable operator ER Telecom, which uses the brand name Dom.ru, plans to connect an additional 400,000 households this year.

Quoting the company, Telecom Daily reports that this will be achieved by building an additional 1,000 kilometers of communication lines.

It adds that besides growing organically, ER Telecom is also expanding through acquisitions.

It recently closed one of a company named Prestige Internet, which uses the brand name Enforta, and has had a number of acquisitions of telcos approved by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS).
