Internet TV provider Zattoo has expanded its free-of-charge, ad-supported video-on-demand (VOD) service with programmes from BBC Worldwide.
Zattoo users in Germany and Switzerland can access documentaries, series and other BBC productions, for example the documentary History of the World, drama series Good Cop, State of Play and The Shadow Line as well as car show Top Gear.
Viewers can choose between the original English-language version and the dubbed German-language version.
The VOD service which is available at www.zattoo.com and within the Zattoo apps for Windows 10, iPhone and iPad launched in December 2015 with productions from Spiegel TV, Studio Hamburg und Fashion TV. Programmes of the free-to-air channels from ProSiebenSat.1 joined the platform this week.
In the next months, the VOD service will be added to the Zattoo apps for Android devices and smart TV sets.
