Sky’s new state-of-the-art Sky Q receiver goes on sale today (Tuesday).
For the first few days Sky Q will be available to order by phone and online. From Friday it can also be ordered from one of the platform’s 250 retail outlets.
However, customers will have to wait until the end of the month before the first install takes place.
Set-up costs start at £99 with an additional £12 typically being added to subscription rates currently being paid by Sky+ customers; for those new to Sky the monthly cost starts at £42.
The launch of Sky Q will be supported by a major advertising campaign, beginning Friday 12 February and featuring key spots in the popular Mr. Selfridge.
