Orange shakes up CEE management

Orange has announced a number of important changes to its senior management teams in Central and Eastern Europe, effective May 1.

Bruno Duthoit, currently the CEO of Orange Polska, will join the management team of Gervais Pellissier as deputy executive director for Europe, responsible for Central Europe.

Meanwhile, Jean-François Fallacher, currently the CEO of Orange Romania, will become the CEO of Orange Polska and Liudmila Climoc, currently the CEO of Orange Moldova, will take ?over the management of Orange Romania as its new CEO.

Julien Ducarroz, currently CCO of Orange Romania, will become the new CEO of Orange Moldova.

All the changes are subject to approval by the respective companies’ governance bodies and communication ?to the appropriate authorities, where applicable.

Commenting on the changes, Gervais Pellissier, deputy CEO and executive director for Europe, who will contimue to manage the group’s senior management teams in the Europe zone, said: “The Orange Group is proud to have such a world-class and successful management team in Europe. We are extremely happy to be able to announce today’s changes – the development of the existing team reinforces synergies between our operations across Europe. I am particularly happy that Bruno Duthoit will now be working at my side as deputy in charge of Central Europe, and we can look forward to benefitting from his extensive experience within the Group, particularly in his role at the helm of Orange Polska. I have full confidence in the team in Europe and look forward to further successes in the years to come.”

As of 1 May 2016, the composition of the Europe zone country management team as a result of these changes will be as follows:
Gervais Pellissier – Orange Group deputy CEO & executive director for Europe
Bruno Duthoit – deputy executive director for Europe, responsible for Central Europe
Laurent Paillassot – CEO Orange España (effective 1 March, as previously announced)
Jean-François Fallacher – CEO Orange Polska
Jean-Marc Harion – CEO Mobistar
Liudmila Climoc – CEO Orange Romania
Pavol Lancaric – CEO Orange Slovensko
Julien Ducarroz – CEO Orange Moldova
Werner de Laet – CEO Orange Luxembourg
