Marion Rathmann has taken over the position of programming director entertainment channels at Turner Broadcasting System in Central and Eastern Europe on February 1, 2016.
Rathmann will be responsible for linear and nonlinear programme planning and scheduling as well as dubbing and acquisitions for TNT Serie, TNT Film and TNT Glitz in the German-speaking markets, for TNT in Poland and Romania as well as for comedy brand [adult swim] in Central and Eastern Europe.
The 46-year old has extensive experience in the media industry, for example at German channels Tele 5 and Motorvision TV where she headed national and international programme and schedule planning.
Rathmann who joined Turner in November 2015 as senior programme planning manager entertainment succeeds Alexander Goethel who has left the company. She directly reports to Hannes Heyelmann, senior vice president and managing director of Turner in Central and Eastern Europe and international original programming strategy.
