Com Hem has signed an exclusive five-year deal with K-Fastigheter that will see the cablenet’s service provided to new properties in Öresund and Stockholm.
“Our goal is to build at least 2,500 apartments across Sweden by 2016. Our aim is to give tenants access to fast, stable and user-friendly broadband, Com Hem is a natural partner,” says Jacob Karlsson, CEO and managing partner of Karlsson Equity Holding, K-Fastigheter’s parent company.
Some 200 apartments were connected in 2015, and about 500 apartments will be connected in Malmö, Helsingborg and Kristianstad during 2016.
“We see a need for different types of infrastructure solutions for our customers. In this case, K-Fastigheter chose hybrid fibre coaxial. Not only is our network the fastest in the Nordic region, according to both Netflix and Google, our TiVo TV service offers the largest selection of channels and functionality in Sweden,” says Stefan Trampus, Director of Sales at Com Hem.
Com Hem offers broadband speeds of up to 500 Mbps to 1.9 million households.
