The Croatian IPTV platform Iskon has added Fight Channel to its Extended Basic package.
Commenting on the development, Orsat Zovko, CEO of Fight Channel group, said: “The launch of Fight Channel, a unique sport channel specialised in combat sports (boxing, kickboxing and MMA – mixed martial arts), will definitely strengthen Iskon’s portfolio and enrich its sport offer since combat sport is the fastest growing sport in the world. Fight Channel is 100% localised into the Croatian language and it has exclusive rights for Ex Yu territories, among other brands, UFC being the No.1 fight brand in the world. The launch of Fight Channel on Iskon’s platform adds to the channel’s presence on all major platforms in Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Montenegro and Macedonia.”
Broadband TV News notes that the other platforms include MAXtv, B.net, SBB, Telemach, totalTV, H1 TV and OpiTV.
Iskon is wholly owned by Deutsche Telekom-backed Hravtski Telekom, the Croatian incumbent telco.
