Disney Cinemagic to become 24h service in Germany

January 8, 2016 10.23 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

Disney Cinemagic 24hPay-TV channel Disney Cinemagic will double its airtime and become a 24-hour service in Germany from February 29, 2016.

“It will be exciting for many families – especially on the weekends – that Disney movie highlights are now also shown in the morning,” said Ralf Gerhardt, executive programming director and deputy general manager Disney Channels at The Walt Disney Company Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Disney Cinemagic has so far only been broadcasting between 12.00 and 24.00 CET with a caption being aired during the vacant period.

The channel which screens movies and animated films produced by US studios Disney and Disney Pixar can be received in Germany at Sky Deutschland and on Deutsche Telekom’s IPTV platform Entertain and in Switzerland as part of the Teleclub package.
