The health-based channel Wellbeing Network will make its debut in Poland on Monday, December 21.
According to Wirtualne Media, the channel, which has an Ofcom licence, is operated by 201 Television Ltd, a company established by Chris Wronski, one of the founders of Zone Vision.
Quoting Wronski, it adds that the channel will initially be distributed by Cyfrowy Polsat and nc+, along with the cable operators Vectra and Toya.
However, negotiations are ongoing with other parties and it should also appear on additional platforms in January.
The aim, said Wronski, is to “create a complex, world platform dedicated to health that will include a TV channel, associated applications, an internet page and online shop”.
