Timur Weinstein has been appointed the new general producer of the Russian national commercial broadcaster NTV.
According to the company, he will combine the post with deputy general director of NTV, assuming his duties on December 1.
It adds that the position of general producer was previously held by Danila Sharapov, who has left NTV.
Weinstein founded the company White Media in 2009 and has also been a member of the board of directors at CTC Media since 2013.
He has produced over 250 projects, most of which have appeared in prime time on major Russian TV channels.
