The app for the Polish online TV service Ipla has now been downloaded over 5 million times on Android devices.
As a result, it is now one of the most popular Polish apps in Google Play and the most popular mobile VOD app in Poland.
Several new versions of the app for mobile Android devices as well as smart TVs from Samsung, Panasonic and Toshiba have recently appeared.
In the case of the one for Android devices, one of its advantages is that provides personalised recommendations for movies, series and TV channels, along with an detailed programme guide for the TV channels section, which contains up to 47 services.
In the case of the Android app on the Plus network, customers can now watch selected content without advertising or additional charges.
It includes the TV channels Polsat News, Polsat News 2, Polsat Sport News, Superstacja, Polsat Cafe and Polsat Play as well as TV series, entertainment programmes and documentaries.
The operator is currently working on publishing a new version of the app for iOS devices.
