A company named Flix.TV has been awarded a satellite licence for the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary by the Czech regulator RRTV.
Parabola reports that the MD and sole owned of Flix.TV is Kamilla Tóth from Hungary and that it can provide viewers with a wide range of both Czech and non-Czech TV channels.
The former include the public services T1 HD, T 24, T2 HD, CT art, CT:D and CT sport HD, along with Prima Zoom, TV Paprika, AMC Channel, Film+, CS Film, CS mini, JOJ Cinema, kinoSvet, Kino Barrandov, Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, Minimax, TV Noe, Nova Cinema, Nova, Nova HD, Prima Cool, Prima, Prima love, Smichov, Telka, Televize Barrandov, Spektrum, TV Ocko, Slagr TV, VH1 European, Sport2, fanda, Nova Sport 1 and Nova sport 2.
The non-Czech channels are meanwhile Animal Planet HD, National Geographic Channel, Discovery HD Showcase, Discovery CE, Discovery Science, Discovery World, TLC, Fine Living, History SD, Travel Channel HD, AXN, Filmbox Extra HD, Filmbox Plus, FilmBox Premium, Filmbox Family, RiK, Dajto HD, Doma, Dvojka (STV2), Jednotka (STV1), Joj Plus, Joj HD, Lux TV, TV Markiza HD, TA3, Wau, TV Senzi, Eurosport 2 HD, Slovak Sport 1, Eurosport 1 HD.
It can also show the adult channels Hustler SD and Eroxxx HD, which are on air between 22.00-06.00.
Broadband TV News notes that the registered address of Flix.TV is in the village of Boranovice, though Tóth’s address is given as being in Budapest.
