UPC Broadband Slovakia has completed the acquisition of Trnavatel, an operator based in the city of Trnava, north east of Bratislava.
It previously held a 95% stake in the company, with the remainder belonging to the city of Trnava.
For Trnavatel subscribers, the acquisition will only mean a formal change of provider.
UPC Broadband Slovakia is one of the leading triple-play companies in the country.
Its offer includes nearly 170 digital TV channels, along with Horizon GO and internet access at up to 500 Mbps, with services being available in 43 cities.
