Poland’s Cyfrowy Polsat saw its pay-TV customer total increase by 1.2% in the year to September 30, while the number receiving internet services rose by a more impressive 19.6%.
However, its mobile telephony take-up fell by 1.7% year-on-year. The latest results published by the Polish company show that as of the end of Q3 it had 4,396,361 contracted pay-TV RGUs, of which Multiroom (+11.8% year-on-year) accounted for 901,271.
The corresponding figures for internet and mobile telephony were 1,517,330 and 6,505,016.
ARPU per customer was up by 1.8% at PLN88.1 (€20.8), while churn per customer was 1.4 percentage points higher at 10.2%.
Cyfrowy Polsat’s revenues in Q3 amounted to PLN2,414.9 million, down from PLN2,419.6 million a year earlier.
Its EBITDA was PLN930.4 million (PLN910.1 million) and net profit PLN502.5 million (PLN48.1 million).
