The Polish alternative telco Netia ended Q3 with 161,000 subscribers to its TV service Telewizja Osobista (‘Personal Television’), or 20% more than a year earlier.
As of the end of September, 42% of its broadband customers also received its TV offer. Netia’s RGU total stood at 2,282,800, which was one percentage point higher than three months earlier.
The number of RGUs on Netia’s own network continued to grow and was 5% higher at the end of Q3 than a year earlier and amounted to 54% of the total.
Netia’s revenues in the first nine months of this year stood at PLN1,169 million (€272.9 million), 8% down on the same period last year. EBITDA, at PLN347 million, was 2% lower. It also had positive cash flows amounting to PLN183 million.
However, its financial results were boosted in the third quarter following the acquisition of TK Telekom, which was completed on July 21.
