The Russian telco Rostelecom has made its Interactive TV 2.0 service available anywhere where there is internet access from any provider.
To receive it, viewers require a new OTT set-top box that works anywhere in the country and adapts to the local time zone.
Interactive TV 2.0 currently offers a basic package of 122 TV channels, along with the packages HD 2.0 and Adult 2.0, each of which consists of four channels.
It also includes a video rental service of over 2,500 titles, among them 300 HD and 60 3D movies, plus around 150 series.
